anarchy effects causing anarchy

hello 
when i insert anarchy effects in an audio channel(hats for example) the sound continues for ever,like an eternal delay (!)
.i mean the i have hats for16 metres but they keep playing.and if i take the cursor and take it in the tart of the track the sound plays as well.it only stops if i stop the track.
any ideas?
