you see, 100 gb per month is nothing....
how would you want to cover a daily or weekly changing video streaming website with 100 gb. you have two hundert people to watch ONLY ONE video and then it is 100 gb ( if it is not converted into smaller piece, and this is the case if you just take normal hostings and do video streaming out of them). you will not cover even a week with 100 gb. i mean, in my case i would not.
yeah 500 pound would be okey, but come on, i am not a millionaire, not even slightly. and you see that everything is for free, incl, the filming and cutting. i would have enough material to put weekly online for the next year, but i cant cover the costs. simple.
and the main hing is- even if i could - why should i? i dont even see anythin else than prohibitions and childish offendings in this scene. this scene is absolutely pathetic.actually i have always been interested in the psychedelic culture only.
whatever. i promised to post goa gil reloaded and cosmic octave reloaded an i will do this before india. last thing.
youtube sucks. do you know that these web 2.0 bullshit places even prohibit to post naked sadhus there. at least to me they prohibit this. i guess too much ppl in this world have problem simply with women.

On the otherhand they don't mind me putting up the most minding twisting inspired psychedelic graphics I can imagine, with the implicit intent to encourage people to "have a good time all the time".
You have to take advantage of what is out there, to suit YOUR purpose. Keep the naked sadhu stuff on your site, with a couple of prime footage bits, and the stuff you want to sell to cover your costs, and use the rest of web2.0 to drive traffic and eyeballs to what you do.
It worked for me, I have 700,000+ hits in a year, get 1800-2400 hits a day or which about 1000-1500 are unique, and will reach 1,000,000+ views by around March next year.
You don't have to compromise yourself, but you do have to work in the "here and now" rather than the "how we would like it to be" to which we are working towards. Or at least I am.

Our minds have been suppressed and we are slaves in this ego based civilization all because we can't fuck in the public. If we could fuck in the public then we would know the supreme truth.

And yes, Moki is leaving us to go to a better music environment and hopefully with Gil, who has proven what self importance truly is.

ahm, sorry that i need to ask another question that is off topic ( to me personally it is on topic because it fits to the theme how much we actually use for a living and how much we put into noble goals for the psychedelic vision).

whatever, they dont delete content where it is all about saying that god is in the entheogens and that mushrooms should be legal, but they do delete naked and porn content.
in youtube i have a channel too. but i dont know, i actually prefer to have less traffic and less ppl than to have a lot of it. and how much of this 1500is rue visitors and how much is search engines and spiders? where do you get your statistics. hope it is not alexa?
anyway, i really prefer to have less ppl on my website. this is also why i dont start comment pages and forums. i would not know what to do with all intruders and fucked up minds and banning is the last thing i would do. but anyway lets see how this evolves. i would have been much faster with my vision but i decided to do sth positive for my real life instead for a living.

Moki, now you seemingly are being a "fuck-wit" again...
The 1500 unique views, 1800-2400 come from YouTube.
And tbh I let my videos/graphics/visuals do the speaking for me, which is why I have done official videos for Cosmosis, SUN Project, PitchBlack, Visua, and A.P.E, and working on some for Ott, Zymosis, Wizack Twizack, International Observer, Kiriyama, Beat Hackers, and Tikki Massala amongst others..
Its nice to be in a position to pick and choose who I want to visualise, and do something that enhances both the profile of the artist/music I admire, and myself at the same time..
You might want to remain a starving unknown artist doing it for the love it, me I'd rather get somewhere, do some good, have fun along the way, and "make it" with all my friends.
I've been where you are, and over the course of time I realised that it wasn't making me happy, so I decided to change that.

i am not even specialized on visuals. i am specialized on picking up good content and finding the interesting ppl.
or may be you have an example to give me that you have done anything conceptualized?
and what if you have done official videos for cosmosis wizack twizack etc? what does this say to us? well okey, if you were lets say el geko or omananda or whatever it is, but hey you were where i am? no one was where i am, because i am doing a totally different thing and i will complete i with or without the fucked up support of anyone in this pathetic scene. may be slower but the way i want.
and as you said, you make 1000000 till the end of the year- then yo are totally fucked up with you tube dear, because you should take at least a video platform that gives you profit for doing so much traffic. there arefar more better business models. some of them pay you if you reach 100000 per view, others pay you a percentage of the ads income generated by your traffic.
but anyway, do what you want. i just said that i will consider putting a paypal account for donations. and after the website is ready , i will at least once bomb and spam potential banner customers and pre roll ad customers. this is the best model i could conceptualise in my studies of the income opportunities. if it doesnt work, then i definitely go towards dvds only.

"Most psychedelic" is the moniker I use, and yes it provokes debate, but debate is better than being ignored and silence. We also live in an "infantile" society where it pays to make noises and temper tantrums. Would be nice if one got recognised for what one did, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
And the only thing that matters to me, in a personal emotional sense, is the pleasure it brings me, though it is wonderful that it also makes so many other people happy. But you can't please all the people all the time, and I am content with that....
It takes allsorts to make the world go around. Beauty in diversity and all that jazz.
