tantra is exactly the oposite of this.
your text is about patanjali yoga and not about tantra.
in patanjali yoga it might be true that you need to discriminate reality from not-reality and then stay calm in the true reality. but this is not tantra.
tantra is about unifying.
unifying all negations and polarities.
you have so throughly missnderstood the idea,
that you cant even imagine how inaccurate our statements is.

This is about Tantra Yoga
Chinnamasta (one of the 10 Avatars of Kali that is SPECIFIC to Tantra) is the Goddess of Discriminating Perception.

Meditational Methods on how to develope Tejas (Spiritual Energy of Fire).
Meditational Methods
1) DISCRIMINATION (Viveka) and inquiry (Vichara) are the main principle meditational principles for developing Tejas as they develope Buddhi, the fiery perspective of the mind.
Discrimination consists of discerning between reality and unreality, truth and falsehood, the Self and the NOT-Self, the pure and the impure. Normally the Buddhi or discriminating principle is concerned with differentiating the names and forms of the outer world, measuring, pricing and naming things, creating various levels of worth status or prestige.
To develope Tejas we must turn Buddhi around or reverse its ordinary and conditioned function. We must distinguish consciousness, which is the eternal formless subjective principle, from name and form, which are transient objective principles. We must focus on the presence of the object, which is not separate from the presence of the seer- and not allow our minds to dwell in the outer aspects of the object and its changing appearances.
Inquiry consists of tracing out the pure I as distinct from the changing circumstances of the various identifications we have created around ourselves. THIS REQUIRES DISCRIMINATION.

@fria.- the statement “sex on public places is always less safe” is false because (even as you mention there are more variables) there are so many “public places” with so different conditions that it wont be “always” less safe. The same applies to private places.
If you will like to control the environment, of course a closed one is more “safe” because its isolated from weather (you can catch a flu but not a ETS just because of this), but other than that if you can clean your bedroom you can also clean the public place and bring your sleeping bag. In many cases public places as forests and beaches will be as “safe”, at least in the hygienic way, as your bedroom.
For example, many areas in hospitals are pretty clean and are “public” so having sex there could be safer that in some dirty hippie apartment.
Of course a snake can bite you or it can start raining, but I think you didn’t mean safe in that way.
So to end the point, there are public places that are suitable for having sex.
And anyway the safety of the sex is the business of those having it, not yours so your statement “sex is more safe on private environments” doesn’t constitute a good argument against sex on public.
