Well Fria maybe you forgot but you first called the FFF guys dirty hippies, which is also quite rude and negative.

Correct...But I ain't the one extolling the virtues of tolerance.

And yet you are surprised that people are rude to you? Fria I really don’t think you understand what tolerance implies then. It’s a two way street, a bridge between our differences, a common ground so we can all get along without killing eachother. And in a world as diverse as ours Tolerance is beyond just a virtue, it’s actually a requirement for peace. Because the only way you can be sure of your own rights is to support the rights of those you disagree with. It’s either good for all or good for none.

From a hygenic standpoint it screams DANGER...public disposal of bodily fluids should generally be avoided don't you think?? I mean, have we not learnt any lessons from the fact that one of the deadliest diseases, AIDS, became so prevalent because of SEX.
|

Hygenic and sanitary aspects are real issues and these should establish the limits we set on sex and NOT peoples personal religious morals on the issue. However just because we have AIDS and other diseases does it mean that the world should abstain from sex, or just because we have accidents while driving cars does it mean we should prohibit driving. That’s just stupid. Like Moki said we just need to learn to fuck right. We need to establish a set of regulations to make sure that sex in open and public spaces is sanitary and does not spread disease. Just like we have regulations for driving automobiles, or for food preparation in restaurants, or garbage dispoasal, and so many other things. It’s about doing it right and responsibly.

Just because we have AIDS and other diseases we should NOT abstain (why do you always take it to an extreme), but yes we should exercise more DISCRETION. Which means, limiting the number of partners, and ideally performing it in a private conducive surrounding. FFF clearly does not come across as practicing clean or safe sex.
In regard to the driving analogy, you seem to forget that usually automobiles are driven in designated areas....same thing should apply FFF...fuck in a designated area. And yes, because of driving accidents, there are a vast number of restrictions and rules that one needs to abide by while operating a vehicle...so should FFF while operating their genitals.

Fria it’s precisely to point out to you that we do not have to go to extremes. Because you are the one using the spread of AIDS as an argument to ban public sex when it’s simply a matter of having sanitary regulations in place along with education. Because if practiced responsibly sex in public should not be any less safe than private sex.

Yeah, in PUBLIC designated areas, not private which is why I used that analogy since its the public aspect of sex you seem to have an issue with. And the regulations and designated areas for driving are determined from a safety, logical and practical perspective NOT from a religious and dogmatic perspective like yours. I really hope you can see the difference.

How presumptuous of you to think that my distaste for public sexual activity stems from a Religious perspective. I just find it in poor taste. After having viewed the FFF website, visually it's an eye sore. You may call that subjective but to me it's not even good porn..They do make it look very crappy. None of my objections stem from any religious requirements...maybe you would like to believe that..but all along all I said is that they make it look very dirty and ugly and so I prefer to NOT have to see such things in UNEXPECTED places.
Now if a Trance festival explicitly mentioned that sexual activity would be on display then I could choose not to go for it- simple.
I don't have a problem with PUBLIC sex in a PUBLIC area designated specifically for sexual activity either.
Sex in public places will always be less safe than sex in private simply because of the PUBLIC environment. It is NOT The same as a controlled environment. It's like saying having a meal in a public toilet should theoretically be the same as eating in a public restaurant IF the toilet were kept clean the way it should be. But that's just theoretical.

Fria youre talking nonsense, first you condradict your self with that thing of "public sex designated areas", and second supossing that public sex will be less safe always, that argument is imposible to prove.

hm, i am suprised to hear this. but if it is just a problem of aesthetics - then it is even more
"anthropocentric" and egoistic (="everything that does not fit into my aesthetics and philosophy has to be a bad thing")......
i dont know why do we need to emphasise so much on FUCK instead of emphasising on FOREST. to me fff has never been just porn, i am not even really interested in porn. sorry to say this in this topic...but it is just not working on me and i could be feeling perfectly well during sex even with covered eyes that dont see anything and just feel....
and i have always been against the idea that males and females are same anyway...
to me sex aesthetics look for instance like that:
http://www.dreameronline.de/in.html
just an example. seen a few of those psychedelic sex aesthetics but no time to look for them right now.....
porn has never been sth soo much attractive to me. i was educating myself earlier with porn but then realized that i dont even wanna do it this way so i started to educate myself in totally different sources of information. 99,99 percent of the porn i have seen was not aesthetic enough for me. there were only a few exceptions about kamastura that really impressed me because they were very intelligent....
what i try to say is - i dont find porn so aesthetic either. but hey, i thought we were talking about a forest.....and the ways to save it, and not so much about materialism and physical aesthetics. i mean come in - in your logic, if they were more beautiful in your criteria then it would be okey, right? but as you dont find them aesthetic - then it is not okey. strange.
and btw from ppl who consume more porn, (=males) i heard that it is quite aesthetic what they do....

Maybe we should start a group called FFF (Fart For Forest).
We will feature pictures and video of beautiful people farting in various aesthetic ways, in a variety of natural settings. The profits of selling our fartographic material will go towards buying forest land in and around the Ring of Fire in Pacific Oceania.
Farting is a completely natural part of being human and people should be free to fart wherever they want to without fear of negative reactions or discrimination for being so free with their bodies.
Our greatest audience, children, tell us that farting is a joyous, happy, funny thing and Fart For Forest does it in a way that can make anyone smile and laugh.
99.99% of farting I do not find personally beautiful, however in a video interview I did with them recently, they talked about how they were asked to leave a church for farting during the silent group prayer. It was a really sad sob story they had to tell and nobody should ever have to face such humiliation simply for giving in to one of people's most aromatic urges.
By the way, the video will be hosted on my website, but you will have to log in to see the close up how they talk out of their ass. It makes the most powerful statement of the whole video!
By the way, personally I do not find farting to be really that beautiful.
Really.
I don't.
Find it beautiful.
I just can't stop talking about it.
It's so beautiful.
But not.
Just watch the video.

Farting is natural and cool. |

I guess you do not follow a simplistic train of thought. A Public YET designated area is still a CONTROLLED environment. So what I am saying is that if one really must fuck in a populated area let it be done in one which is specific to that purpose.
Not so difficult to follow, pay attention.
Saying that my concept of public sex being less safe than private sex is difficult to prove is ridiculous. It's been proven many times around. Take a trip to Bangkok my friend where sex is rampant on the streets and you'll have your answer.

According to me Fucking to Save the forest is a bullshit way of saving the forest...period
Let's talk about the forest you say..hard to when the mode of getting the message across is to fuck all over the place. That's what alot of us have been saying. If you really want to save the forest indulge in some "real" activism. Tie yourself to a tree or something. Fingering someone while speaking of saving the environment detracts from the message. It's hard to take someone seriously while they engage in LEWD behaviour.
