Ananda Shake - We Speak Music (Utopia Rec.)

(Sorry for the last crappy review... :-\)

About Ananda Shake: Ananda are Osher Swissa and Lior Edri, from the south of Israel.
They have been producing music for about 10 years, first oldschool Goa and slowly they
started creating their own unique sound and sytle. Their first album came out in 2005 on
Utopia Rec. and had the name "Emotion in Motion", This, "We Speak Music", is their second album now.
Meshel 6 Days - It beggins like an 80's song but then the kick hits you
and you flip over! The rest of the track keeps the 80's spirit with lot's
of cool breaks like only Ananda knows how to deliver. 4:19, ohh man!! what
an uplifting sound!
After Shock - After the shock of the great improvment in the sound production
comes this powerful track and this track is all about power! Nothing melodic is
really in here just to make you dance your ass of on the dance floor.
Street Fighters - It first was favorite but then i heard "Shake Well Before Use (Album Version)",
but more about that track later...
This track melody is based on the very known old game "Street Fighter" and what a melody!!
Great intro then at about 4:45 it comes back and let's you come down but not for very long...
Pushing Me Out - "Wha Wha Wha What are you talking about?" about Pushing me out!
this sample comes at the intro and returns along the track from time to time.
This track, like, After Shock seems to be more about the power but once you hit minute 6:30
it all changes with this great arpeggio!
Digger - It starts off with very wierd sounds 'till 0:30 then comes the powerful kick along with
a bass that personaly I did not like very much, heard better ones from them.
Along the track their are few little melodies but in the 5th minute the killer melody
comes in.
Round trip - The crowd goes crazy and so do you! 2:37 nice little punchy melody, 3:05 turns to a groove.
4:36 ~coming down~ dark pad in the background wierd noises takes you on a "Round Trip" and then, 5:42,
BOOOOOOM! POWER!
Ground Speed - A nice sample at the beggining on a very heavy pad. This track is not one that I like
very much and it's the only one. I don't seem to find anything special about that one and the ending..
not very original.
Shake Well Before Use (Album Version) - Ohhhhhh Sweet mother of god!!!!! My favorite!! It's just perfect!
The intro the middle the end, nothing I would change! Great melodies, guitars, kick, bass, EVERYTHING!!!
Just let me fucking hear it over and over and over again!!!
Ornella Secrets - Beautiful intro! So spiritual! The whole track is filled with spiritual sounds
but the great Ananda base is still there accompanying them. 5:15 guitars are back with another
spiritual melody and a piano in the background. 7:15 funky piano leading the way to the end!
That's where the Trance side ends.....
We Speak Music - A cool ambient track to end it all very melodic, funky, and crazy.
It Starts slow and becomes faster as you go on.
This track takes you to a different dimention, all those sounds play with your brain and ears.
The guitar chords that come and go along are great and help you get in the vibe.
Overall, very good job! Great sound production! Lior and Osher sure know what they are doing!
Keep up the very good job!!

Just briefly listened to it a bit but from what I heard I think I like the older album better. This one is not bad though. Just ... different. I'll post some more once having listened to it more thoroughly.

ananda shake is one of my fav artists is full-on psytrance...well this is second album of ananda shake and its noisy and darker than last album:D some track are really AWESOME and brilliant
for example first track meshel 6 days..this track is DAMN KILLER ..in middle of this track u can hear amazing ananda's MELODY and u cant keep ur legs in ground..
and about title album track..i think this is one of nice track in here and one of my favorite ..new style from ananda full of noise and melody together with nice bassline.. i like it..
Also Digger was nice track here..with amazing old-school melody in middle of this track

special thnx to osher and lior for bringing this good album to our ears

I'm sorry to disagree with you guys, but this album was a deception to me.
With an exception to "We speak Music", which is not a dance floor track, this album brought no innovation to my ears. I liked their previous album, and I enjoy and bought most Utopia Records releases, but after giving a real chance to this album, I came to the conclusion it is not my taste.
A good thing for those who liked it is that, as half of the Utopia Records releases, this album has 10 tracks.
I hope Lior and Osher are cooking more twisted stuff. And I REALLY hope Vibe Tribe's second album will be more interesting that this.

Without a doubt this album is a Masterpiece!!!
the new style of ananda shake that this album have is just perfect for me.. i realy realy love to hear it!!
Lior&Osher i wish you all the best with this album.. keep Speak Music!
