GMS & Poli - Universal. Is it okay if I just upload the whole song? or am I breaking some law?

The drums have reverb on them that makes it sound like the song is being played in a club or even better - in a space station.

Can we analyze the reverbs added here. I believe it would be very educational.

and

another question.. what's going on with the open hat pattern?

is it K-ss-ss-ss K-ss-ss-ss with changing velocities? or is there a closed hat in there?

I have the basic psytrance drum beats down really well, but when it comes to making these fast full-on drums, the mystery eludes me.

As an antagonist to the topic, lets stop analyzing GMS

am i the only one who is getting tired of non contributing contributors on this forum?

to me it sounds like the question is about fullon drums/reverb and not about gms.

or should we stop analyzing fullon?

I dont think you are alone..Some people have the opinion that some questions dont follow some sort of code..like if you wanna start a discussion about these drums to learn something about new technologies, some people tend to believe that you wanna do it to copy someones sound into your own tracks..But the point is to learn techniques and experiment further..I think its better to let no question be stupid if it hasnt been questioned before..but thats just me..

this is when the drums come in after the 16 bars or so of just bass drum.

then,

this is when the drums are fully in the track.

analyse the track its compressed to death. It breathes hardly but sounds so clean..I guess cause of expensive gear in the end,but nevertheless the source is opticaly dying of no breath as I see it.
avarage rms 7,63 .

About the drums I dunno I guess a slight hardware reverb since its quite transparent.I like the composition.
Dunno any good software reverb or one which is not that much coloring as glaceverb for instance.Reverb a could be nice with light settings.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

imo u r not able to "hear" whats going on with the perc. in full on...
you basicly just hear 16 closed HH + 4 open HH + 2 snares.

but mostly there are alot more snares, HH, shakers.
overlayed just played with the velocity/pan/reverb/reverse.

a solid tutorial would help here for sure...
there was one i remember, but it was to long and less professional + bongos in it, what makes it full, but in most classic fullon there are no bongos at the "main" lead.

i think its also a fact that it takes much time to learn,
and its a bit strange to make a 10min vid with all the collected knowledge what took years.

1st ps:
where do i get the new mixes of GMS what they got on their new myspace site?
all of them are great, but i dont know where to buy it... or even the name of the cd.

2nd ps:
there is a new standard player on myspace wich not bugs like the old version, any idea about the quality?
still 96?
(sorry for OT)

i dl the second with the full and i think it sounds like the usual hihat-snare and another hihat playing 4/4 with velocity to make that "jumping" feeling, try an open big hihat and play with the envelope to close it as wish and play with the velocities of the notes, like put on the two first the vel. on 20 and on the other two 80, its like following the groove of the bass, think of it like this -hhHH- or -hHHH- and experiment

Well every thread needs an antagonist.

But yes it was a bit presumptious. I sometimes go on other forums to find info on a certain sound that I might want to use in a totally different context/genre. I am sure one day I might ask similar advice here on this forum, and I am sure mr vegetable will be here to tell me otherwise.
