hello ya all audiomaniacs :-).
i want to start something that i'm sure repeats many times in every audio forum...
well ... i am not a complete lamer in sound, but
my saying is: to buy today analog synth...is worthless, because u can buy a new full featured "analog modeling" synth for less money and get much more from it.
please don't get mad all the analog "deciples and patriots", just please explain why you think real
analog is better, and why do u think its sounds can't be achieved by digital gear.....

i am new to this forum, but i hope to get serious reposts :-)

I've heard both analog and VA (virtual analog - digital) synths. I didn't see much difference... I think that the benefits you get from a digital synth far exceeds the so called "warmth" (if there is any) of vintage analog synths. They are also overpriced and not working like they used to.

I never wanted to buy any analog eqipment till i have made a track on a software base... however i think that most of the analog stuff will vanish...but not everything! the human finers are still more exact than the use of a mouse. so i.e.
mixers or other LFO or resonater stabilizer won't
vanish at all.
