"... and Frogs fell from the Sky"
On the first day, Light omitted the Universe from Darkness,
Thus the Light could shine in all its sparkling splendour
To illuminate the Heavens and the Earth.
On the second day, Light created Sound from Silence,
Thus the Universe could hear the Voice of Life
And so the Sound spoke to the Universe:
"Thou shalt dance untill the Dark returns, dance untill Forever burns
Dance thou shalt to Beats and Bass, Cubits three of Space each Pace.
Hand in hand and all alone, dance untill all Stars have shone
Dance thou shalt, enjoy, embrace, dance eternal, dance with Grace."
On the third day, the Universe danced in Light,
And dance it did, submerged in Sound,
Everblasting, outward bound.
Aeons after, Sound reprised,
Man on Earth danced synchronized.
Bass roared deep, Brass swelled on, Beats rolled Heaven high
Birds swam down, Fish jumped up and Frogs fell from the Sky.

- coming from Amsterdam Central Station
Follow direction Haarlemmerplein, then head direction Nassauplein.
At Nassauplein turn right across the bridge. Before viaduct, take a right
onto the Houtmankade. At the end of the Houtmankade, turn left
onto the Tasmanstraat. After about 400 m the Stavangerweg will be
on the righthandside.
- coming from the Ring A10 (Amsterdam roundabout freeway)
Exit S102 Transformatorweg, follow dir. Centrum/Westpoort 3000-9000.
After 2.5 km past the trafficlights, with Spaarndammerstraat on the right,
take the next left turn direction Stavangerweg.
At Strand West there is parking space for app. 150 vehicles.
Be aware, it's payed-parking in front of the location.
Free parking in the industrial area next door.

CENTIPEDE PRODUCTIONS - "... and Frogs fell from the Sky."
United expanders of the musical mind,
To complete the third and closing day of this year's Amsterdam Dance Event, you are hereby invited for a night to remember. Centipede Productions presents a progression in psychedelic perception - a fusion of sounds and visions from our future past, a realtime mixdown assembly of recombined drumsignals from interconnected tribal sources, resulting in a musical experience of intergalactic bliss proportions: the ever-evolving universal ritual of dance.
On Saturday October 21st, the nocturnal heavens above the western harbor of Amsterdam will be illuminated, when Strand West opens its blacklit doors and reveals the passage to a pair of dancefloors. Both will be filled with musical ingredients by the following metronomical engineers, to satisfy the daily need for synchronized group activities.
From the tribe of the Peaking Goddess Collective, connected to swiss recordlabel Peak Records, comes Flooting Grooves. Spreading warm and pure ambidelic grooves, this live act builds up the perfect opening atmosphere on the first floor and guides you down from clouds nine and up with the closing set on the second floor.
The Deviant Species came into existence to produce psychedelic trance with a characteristically raw yet polished, techy sound, edged with sharp percussive elements. After its third album, the species rides the crest of a new wave of psytrance with its own label: Ambivalent Records, releasing a wide array of artists from the full-on stables in the UK and those around the globe.
Recently filed under Stikka in the archives of universal music, is the new project of reknowned dutch psytrance producer Synchro. Together with Slagroom and Satisfaction (from Germany and New Zealand) a trinity is formed to broaden the musical horizons inside and explore those outside of the psychedelic scene. Unsigned to any label as yet, they frequently perform live, merging deeply undulating electro with futuristic vocals.
Circumfering these live acts, are the following deejays - in order of appearance.
On the first floor, DrVinni guides us through the progressive realms of electronic tales, a journey Back to Mars will extend to enhance the trance to a nighttime level, where Satyr pours out a strong psychedelic blend of blissful twisters on top of the final curves of the upward spiral.
On the second floor, Laurent -one of the promotors behind the annual Bom Voyage outdoor party- opens with minimal electronics, Basserk embassador MNO crosses over between electro and progressive, and a mixture of electro grooves with a pinch of psychedelic will be stirred by the hands of Centipede initiator Dogo.
Beware: you are advised to set your visual phazing to stun, as the binary beams of Artivizuals, crossing paths with the liquified projections of Rorschach & Rorschach, combined with the ornamental manifestations of D-Core, will fully dominate the optical frequency spectrum of televisualised transmissions inside this particular niche in spacetime.
