amplified speakers interference,... help!!??

hi ppl
i have this problem.. with my amplified speakers. i dont know whats causing that!!
hope someone knows whats going on..
with the speakers on!! i can hear a radio station obviously i dont have any radio connected . maybe its an antenna near by.. what can i do to make this shit stop?? : (

Maybe its the cables? Have you tried to use epensive pro cables? They are very well shielded, bad cables catches radio transmission easily. |

I think the problem may be your electrical plugs in your house are not land connected (ligaçao a terra não sei se e assim que se diz)
Try to connect you speakers to one of those plug connectors with a button to turn on/off and check if same happens...or call an electrician to connect the plugs to land...i´m not into electrics to give a more deph explanation...but I think its a easy thing to do and also it is recomended (if there is an electrical discharge, the earth connetion makes sure all the energy goes to earth and doesn´t blow your computer/speakers)
Also, do a search, other ppl here have reported the same exact problem a while ago and if i remember correctly the managed to sort it quite easilly..
