right.... how shall i put what I want to say?
over the past year, one Asaf Amdurski got crowned as the prince of electronic music in this little country. after making a cross over from rock to "electronics" (he is also a dj) he got an album out called MANOIM SHKETIM (quite engines) and a live album is out too. I recently heared both and can now say that I think he's a hoax. I mean - full respect for trying and the album has some nice moments in it but rugs of pads, the occasional loop and a scratch here and there dont count for it and I must say that after I heared the "live" cd and found out that some of the work is studio - the hoax feeling just grew.
i heared him DJ too and was not too impressed.
and he's ugly too.:)
but he has a very foxy looking wife...:)
I dont want to sound too harsh and my criticizm is mostly directed at the Israeli music establishment that made a lot of hype around something which is very mislabeled.
any comments?

Some of menoim shketim is nice (the part where P.Cok hands are felt), but of course this guy is far from being the electronic musician of the year in Israel, as he is claimed to be. But just like Barkan, if it'll open ppl's ears and mind to better stuff- great! |

I don't think that that's a hoax I think it's the ultimate and ever rising combina.. Only from his kinda ppl I would choose quite a few before him and waaaaaay better in electronics... But HE IS Asaf Amadurski and HE IS a celebrity and ppl talk about him and ofcourse he has a foxy little wife with a very small voice - but she is also a celebrity - why? COMBINA
Infected Mushroom 10 times more than him deserve it and Astral Projection some 100 - coz Astral are the so called 'Fathers' that made the electro so wide in Israel..

asaf amdurski is rubbish.
he`s album was never electronic (BTW if his album is electrnic most other albums this year were electronic including Ivri lider and dana berger).
asaf amdurski is nothing but someone that the old elite (aka-galaz and friends) can love and say he has made the crossover.
he`s sets r not close to the REAL new york sound
but he plays the shit danny taneglia plays -in one world same old boring progressive ichsa.
and guy is right he is very ugly.

Don't understand you guys, I mean, this is so Israeli in my eyes, you don't have to dig really, just make some blhablha and it'll all be cool.
To see and to be seen thats what we do best.
And as for his little foxy wife, she's just the feminine answer to his so called electronic.
The misbelife that ppl. that will listen to his music and will go get FSOL, do remind me the same ones that thinks that after listening to the Barkan bros' someone would really go and get himself a BLT album [b][/b] |

Well Uri, I personally know few ppl that started with Barkan and Holymen and these days listen to BLT, Hux Flux, Posford etc.- How do you propose this has happened? A warp in reality?
Anything that opens a new channel in the mind is good- it is up to each person what they do with this open channel.

Dissing ppl and their work just closes channels. |

O.k Shahar, there will always be this little percent who will go out and search for knowledge but as far as it goes, the majority will keepon being the ones who won't really get into it, and will stick to the mainstream surface.

First of all... I love you all :)) now, lets get
back to our quite issue with Asaf....
I saw his "So-called" foxy lady at the night of the TLV opening.... believe me, she's not that hot... (although I would've fucked her quite bad if I had that chance) and she's way far from being close to the Models league.... now, at that night... I saw her and Amir Gay-Gutman (yes, the woosy faggot from Hi5) going at it in the club...
they WERE NOT descreet, she didn't have ANY respect for her Husband?!?!# two days afterwards I saw pictures in some newspaper (Pnai-plus, I think) showing the opening of the "dOME" club, and there they were, Michal, and Amir going at it again.....no respect for asaf... so... instead of hating the fact that it's all based on Combinas... I'm quite sure it was a lovely jesture of his friends to fix up assaf with that so-called title, you know, to get his mind off from his everyday troubles a little bit...

and dont take it too seriously....
