Can anyone recommend on good psychedelic ambient????
Need some psychedelia when doing homework, and trance just takes me out of concentraion. :(

Buy the 'future sound of Ambient' series from BNE.
Its an excellent series,always a great background for when your doing something.Volumes 3 and 4 are the best, if i remember correctly:) |

yes those Future Sound of Ambient compilations are excellent..
vol. 3 is my favorite.
also both Surrender To The Vibe from Phantasm are great psy ambient comps.
as for Shpongle, of course that everyone prolly heard it. in my case I havn't heard it in a long time now.. already OVER heard it way too much so I can recognize every little bit of a milisec in it. in other words - over shpongled. :)
I'll just wait for Shpongle 2..

if u want ambient(not chill out):
PATCHWORK-3 exelent albums.
AQUARIUS TWINS-best ambient by GUY SABBEG.
GALAXY-ambient,not so psy but i do my university project only with this one.
and u (GOA LOVERS) will enjoy alot from FUTURE SOUND OF AMBIENT 3,4(DOUBLE CD).alot of melody in it.
CYPHER-DADO's side project.realy great electronic music(better than DEEDRAH in my opinion).
its the best i think... |

i mean ive only heard like 3 tracks, but it doesnt sound like ambient... seems psy trance

well, i heard i was made by iridium, but what is on the cd is remixed by AP, and well, the fact is, every sound i the track(which i personally think kicks ass,) is AP oriented.

Alex, i thought it was AP's, but on Isratrance's CD reviews it was said it's Iridium's (I thought Isratrance is more exact then i am :-)).
About the sounds, you're absolutly right - they're all AP. |

Well, to make a track like this with no matter who's sounds, you have to be talanted musically somehow, so, iridium if you made this track, you kick ass.
It's the most emotional and "GOA" style track i heard in a long time, although the album isn't new.
BOM!!
