hello all ambient gurus and my peaceful isratrancers ....... iam gonna submit my first chillout promo mix to a mumbai (india) record label this month ....... being based in india ive never seen anyone play a chill set as all what people want here is bangin dark trance (or fullon) ...... pleae give me some feedback on the set iam planning to mix ......... as i have no previous experience in chill out djing ........

some tracks just dont mix like say track 6 and 7 ...... so is it cool if i just play them back to back in the mix ??? ........

No worries about the MIX'S,just with the crossfading it's good enough.
The tracks are lovely,that's not under discussion,but the thing is how to build it...quite trancey your set is,but with this kind of tunes you better beatmach.
I like it,good vibe,groovy,danceable...nice.
My fake plants died, because I did not pretend to water them. |

hey ...
i'm from Mumbai too ...
really good to see that there are fellow ambient lovers in a city thhat is , in my opinion, a bit too obsessed with full - on/ dark music . . .
about yr mix ... i;m not familiar with all the tracks on there, but as justin said .... its very very important that u build the set to creat some kind of flow or "story" behind it ....
maybe if u post yr mix on the net somewhere u;ll get more constructive responses??
n e way ...
