I'm ,usualy ,using for my music bass guitar vst + acoustic drum parts.
I have noticed that there is not kick&bass frequency conflict like in psy/electronic kick&bass.
It's necessary using side chain for this kind of kick&bass combo?

Also i'm still trying to figuring out, how to make proper synth bass,
especially something like Entheogenics's sine bass. I have tried, but Without success.

An essential thing about Entheogenics synth basses is to have a relatively long attack and release on the amp. Thats really softens out the bass.
