you need a basic setup of 2cdj's & mixer. Pioneer seems to be considered the best for this kind of equipment, but they are expensive. A good Pioneer dj setup, could cost you around 1500$...

You can try a "Gemini" dj setup - they are cheaper then pioneer, and they work pretty well...           MiniMAL cabron...

ok good start
well i agree with munchie that u need 2 cd players and mixer
i dont agree with 2nd part about pioner...
my "real good" plate for ya will be 2 american dj proscratch 2
mixer u'll need to fit for yaself
but about the players
way better than pioner 1000 (and i mean Fu***n way) that coast half of it
last week i atlast played with those toys and man...the shit is amazing http://www.americandj.com/product.asp?ProductIDNumber=1062&cat=CD_Players

i dono why ppl in israel so much exiting from pioner fancy-for-nothing players without checking some other players
for me djing on pioner is war
with pro scratch 1 i enjoy
proscratch 2 is MAD
its just something different

P.S. and dont get close to gemeni ;D

Would anyone care to comment on the lower end American DJ gear? Their dual CD decks (
e.g. DCD-PRO200 MKIII) are substantially cheaper than the Pioneer gear. The pro scratch deck is a bit out of my price range, and I wouldn't be spinning hip-hop anyway!

In my opnion no equipment has as much durability as the Pioneer ones.
There are lots of good ones, but they will brake sooner than the Pioneers ...

In my opinion you should get yourself a pair of turntables and a mixer.

None of that cdjaying
It`s not fun.

I agree with PIN, the pioneer gear is well made and never
lets you down!
