Ok... now mainly over the years I have been hooked on progressive, melodic morning and chill out. Maybe a little bit of the more tasteful full on stuff. But I have never danced harder than I did to the stuff amanda was spinning that night. It officially took me places I didn't know I could go. I don't think my feet touched the ground through her whole set. Much much respect.
But now I NEED to have in my grasp every track she played, particularly this one that started with this really low down sleezy guitar riff (possibly a bass) then built up to pure mind splitting, ear tripping insanity.
I've ordered a few mistress of evil compilations which hopefully will arrive soon but if there are any amanda freaks out there who are very farmiliar with what she plays, your information will make me smile  |

i think she spinned some unrelased material she has - or at least i don´t now it - and u did very well on ordering m.o.e. material - a lot of tracks she spinned are in their comps.
but u can also speak with her directly:

i had to leave before her set-but as i know her she rocked for sure the dancefloor-good girl amanda!!!!!!
but soulfood-if you just dicovered the cutting edge of psytrance please check also Ghreg on earths debut album on wirikuta recordings named-sigilweaver---i think thats "earcandy" for you if you freaked out with amandas set!

hello
i am glad you liked my set! it was really incredible playing for so many people. most of what i played was my own material...some is from projects with other artists from SF some was just me. most is unreleased..maybe someday it will be but there are no plans to release for now(0=

Definitely one of the three best sets @ boom (the other two were Natan and Entropy, the surprise set). Looking forward to more releases from Amanda and from Mistress of Evil in general. Big up the SF headz! |

I am very proud and happy to inform you that Amanda will be playing a DJ set at out next Further Dimensions party in Biel/Bienne, Switzerland on February 16, 2007 If you missed her at Boom or want to relive this special experience, this is your chance!
At the same night we will have a live act and dj set from Mubali (USA) and a live act from Electrypnose (Switzerland). |
