I have sold my Komplete 9 Ultimate few days ago ( in order to buy Moog SubPhatty but have 2 months to wait for it , run of stock in local store )

Anyway , I planed on purchasing sylenth1 and using it and the moog only but I don't feel 100% comfortable purchasing a program that is on Beta version 4 years and there is none updates or communication from the developer ....

I tried Diversion and really liked it and there is also this new Spire vst that out and on sale ( only 69 Euros ) that seems good but I find myself trying to recreate Sylenth1 sound on other vsts and its just sounds different

Any ideas guys ?

there most likely won't be any updates or anything to sylenth. however that doesn't mean you shouldn't buy it - it sounds fuckin great.            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

Diva, Zebra, Monark (does it have a high pass filter? I think it does).
All sound better than Sylenth (imo)...especially Diva and Zebra leaves Sylenth standing in terms of modulation (and sound, imo again).

Recently we receive a lot of questions about how to run Sylenth1 in 64bit hosts on OSX, such as the new Logic X and Ableton Live 9. We are still working on a 64bit version of Sylenth1 and we're hoping to get it done before the end of this year.

There are no serious bugs that need to be sorted out, it works good and it is what it is, there will be 64 bit version soon, so it's a good news

Yes .

I didn't use all the acoustic stuuf from there ( I prefer record drums/pianos etc and for orchestral stuff I use some orchestral libraries that I have )

From the synths I used only massive and rarely some others and I much prefer the sound of HW synths

If its bass you want, get Massive.
This wavetable shit is amazing,i wish i would find about it earlier. It makes most fat sounds , envelopes that you can assign practically to everything, lfos that you can assign to everything, amazing effects that even when pushed to maximum sound amazing.
Yea,you can get addicted for the sounds it makes. From most fatass bass to most soothing cosmic pads.           From all the things I lost, that sandwitch cost me most :)

I used massive a lot when had the Komplete , I really liked it for basses and for pads ( you can create a lot of movement with all this oscillators and the wavetable knob )

someone's caught the analogue fever, uh? will it be your first hardware synthesizer? having a real instrument next to you can bring a lot of inspiration - and the Moog filter surely sounds lush...

but I can't help thinking: Komplete is a lot of bang for the buck. it puts a Yamaha Motif to shame, if you ask me: that's a serious workstation that has anything imaginable and could take years to fully grasp - even just Reaktor alone. Massive has gained a lot of momentum with the "Bass music thing" and all, but how come you've hardly used the others? So many good stuff with Reaktor, FM8 (that is a DX7 on steroids if you ask me), Absynth - altough that one comes with a steep learning curve but is GREAT for atmospheres and moving/evolving sounds...

Rant over! On topic: I think you'd be happy with U-he's stuff or Sonic Academy's ANA or Cakewalk stuff - if you're after the squelchy kind of sounds from the Roland age, teebees and acid/squelchy sounds.

the D16's Lush 101 (makes for a hell of a SH 101 emulation, along with super saw from Juno), or the Tal Audio stuff to!

This is the thing . Put aside the acoustic stuff that I have not liked . Synthwise , you have so much stuff in there and I dont want spend years to learn it all . I tried to learn them but it always ended up like " meh , I can do this in massive much faster " because I learned it inside out and feel comfortable with it , so I prefer to invest the money in the SubPhatty and get another good soft synth

And yes , this is going to be my first HW synth

yeah, the inspiration you get from HW beats anything! you're in for a ride for sure!

on topic, if you feel that way about Massive, just get that one! something you know good and feel confortable with is a weapon on the arsenal and those are always keepers!

and if you're after something to replace sylenth, get it also! those two! sylenth works great on my system, no issues at all, you shouldn't really worry about that.

guess what really matters is stuff that inspires you and that you know well or feel like taking the time to know better. if you get the sounds you want from them, it's a no brainer

you won't be missing Monark much with a Slim Phatty coming, uh? having a Moog as a first... you may have noticed that you have just changed your future by doing that. you may end up in a room full with blinking lights and cables hanging from everywhere eheh
