alternative vst for glitch (audio damage's automation?)

hi all,
i'm looking for an alternative vst for illformed's glitch. glitch is imho to buggy and crashes nearly every time during project load 
so i tried effectrix which is very very nice. but there are some more similar vsts out there. e.g. livecut and audio damage's automation.
unfortunately there is no demo for automation. does anyone has experiences with audio damage's automation? can someone give a comment?

Glitch is great but does not work anymore here on Cubase 4.
I now slice the sample or cut it with (fade ins & outs sometimes) into as many parts as I wish,and through offline processing save the parts with plug in powers in them .
Takes more time but has a wider range of possibilites.
But automation in glitch is fun too.
Never used effectrix but sounds not bad.
