Works great, except that it creates loops and regions in the dragged samples which you have to disable when you drag them to Kontakt.

Glad you liked the plugin.
I've been using it for years, I'm not even using the audio rendering of Cubase anymore, I just record and drag with Edison.

However i really miss osr2 it was much more faster to use than edison :/
It stareted and stop recording depending on a threshhold, and had multiple slots

I only found MRecorder (free) from Melda but it is kind of clunky

what daw are you using? in most of them you can set some bus/aux channel and feed the audio there directly to record.

Yeah that how I do it, but its !!!far!!! from anything like OSR2, since there is no DAW out there where you can directly drag and drop samples from the arrangement to a 3rd Party VST Sampler like Battery or Kontakt.

With OSR2 you could stay into the creative flow while Sampleing and Resampling hits as it was possible with Hardware units like the legendary Roland MV8000.

I just want to resample and immediately be able to trigger the new recorded Hits as fast as possible.

If I have to first select a path, or click trough tiny drop down menus it always feels like :

I am using Studio One.

The best workflow with StudioOne is at the moment to use this macro:

Another option would be to use FXPansion Geist (yes it can record samples !, a Sampler which can sample huh) instead of Battery, but I dont get warm with its GUI for some reason.
