I also uses logic for production but...
In my opinion best glitch effect for mac's and pc's you can get in ableton. All those plugins are't good for me.
Check this:
In Poland sugarbyte's plugin is cheaper about 100USD than Ableton Live, so i choose ableton ;]
IMO ableton is best and most easier program to make sample stuttering/glitching/resamplig etc.
For production I preffer Logic, beacause Ableton has illegible interface - for me
Cheers!

yeah ableton is great but often the quality is not that great to me,but i m talking with live 7 experience that i used for around 1 year. for example their resample / pitch algo sucked ! i could do most of the thing in other daw with 3rd party plugins of a better quality . but the workflow in live is really great..i would start it all again i would probably use abelton or renoise for composing and maybe logic or cubase on top for the final touch.
Check out sugarbytes I have recreated all the sugarbytes concepts in Ableton but they use up tons of cpu. Sugarbytes tornado is a new concept that is even cooler!!! Sugar bytes is the best if you want to manipulate the effects live. Check out
