just wondering who listened to these styles of music before "converting"? i was obsessed my whole life with rock music... played in bands etc... then one day my eyes were opened to the world (and culture) of psytrance. I couldn't be happier to have changed...
Anyway needed to ramble.           difficile est non saturam scribere

i dont like the word "converted" because there so much great non-psy music.

I still love alternative music. No matter how much I get into trance, nothing beats rocking out to something with distorted guitars!!! Most people that I've spoken to that are into trance at the moment were into alternative first.           A beer in the hand is worth 2 in the fridge

Coming from the people listening on the floor,it's good to have individual non-psy influences as a dj or producer to maintain that individuality to a set or track.

Very true!

The only time i really listen to trance anymore.....is when i am sorting out a set....or my own tunes.

I am subjected to a lot of HipHop and R&B from my girlfriend....but those guys can PRODUCE!
