G'day All,
Putting this thread out and about to notify the tribal trance world of these 5 brilliant musicians called the Alter-Natives, a new band that has formed and found its way out of the deep forests of North NSW, Australia.
It’s a combination of BOOM, 4 percussionists from Bellingen, NSW, AU (Performed and produced alongside Ganga Giri, Wild Marmalade +more) and BEN, a sparkling new electronic trance producer from Coffs Harbour, NSW, AU.
BOOM has performed at The Annual Global Carnival (Bellingen, NSW, AU) over the last few years and touched thousands of people with their amazing drumming journeys.
Their music is hypnotic, and extremely driving, and has brought a new edge to LIVE Tribal Trance. The sampling used by BEN is all natural sounds, and the baselines are created with the use of Bird samples, Water samples etc. and in combination with the percussion this sounds absolutely amazing. Just have to hear it to understand I suppose.
The first studio recording is taking place next w/e (18-20th Feb ’05) here in Byron Bay. I’ll place a link to the demos here on IsraTrance once I’ve finished mixing it down to 2-track.
