Annonymous Lazy producers... 
Hi, my name is Sebastian and I'm a lazy producer.
Does anyone have some really good tips and hints to help the lazyness and the lack of motivation, when producing?
Lately I have been starting alot of tracks, got them to the point where I could arrange it to at least 4 minutes, but then I get lazy, and looses motivation. I tend to just play around with the loops, doing nothing new...

Search for real life work..and do it at least 10 hours a day..then travel almost 45min before(to get to work) and then travel 45min back to home..the speare time you got at least will kick your ass to conzenrtate on the important parts and to come up with something if you still want to keep it goin..
thats what i do in the moment..well i work in a pro audio store..and talk almost all the time when i`m awake about new high end gear and production,recording and synth based music at all..
so i do enjoy it right now..but i realize what time is worth..so think about..
i don`t know where you get your money from..but sounds like my situation 1 or two years ago..

some pussy here and there always motivates me 
but thats me, get out party, go camping and shroom out, live life man...
and don't stress the music, just get out and have a good time, im sure that will make u feal something that u will be able to translate thrue sound later,,,
for example, if you go out and u meet this hot chick, and both like each other, shit that right there will make u go home and make music maybe different from ur usual but not necessary bad... dont limit urself and you'll grow, and develop ur own style thats the best advice i can hand down to u like a brother forget all those big acts style, sounds ,etc do u man, make a jazz track or make a latin track, my point is have fun and all will fall in its place, so cheer up... ur not lazy u just being too hard on urself again get out and forget the music, and when u live it you;ll run into people or situations that will mold u and ur music, best regards Deyan |

Hello everybody,
My Name is Raphael, and I'm a lazy producer too.
At least at the moment.
My thoughts about it:
1: Sometimes my creativity has to ripe, instead of forcing me to music, I simply follow my lazyness and do what ever I want.
2: Sometimes I'm just a lazy P. what helps me to motivate are:
- Target. New single, new album, deadline (put by myself)
- live act, wanna show something new.
- musical vision of any kind.

I have a full time job, working with elder care. And I have about 25 min travel each way.
Also I just applied for a new education as a paramedic, which I hope starts in january, where I also will be moving to a new place. I really hope that will help things get started.
@SCM : I think making goals and deadlines is a good idea to some extend. Last time I had a goal tracks just kept comming. But next real goal I have is in january, where I'm playing in London, and thats a long time. But maybe I can try and make some other goals, like trying to get a single track released before that...

But yeah, some times it does... But every time I am with a woman, I tend to stay with her a whole weekend and then start work, so I don't really get to spend all that good energy on music...
