Both can be good. Alone you can really do what you want to do. But when you work in teams you can see things from a different perspective and sometimes you need to work harder to make sure both are satisfied.
But it can also be really annoying if you both want different things. Or if you are on a different level of production. And you keep explaining simple things in stead of making music.

i find it boring to make music alone you progress 10x slower then if you exchange ideas with someone else.

Depends on the "someone else"
I progress faster by myself when i don't have to stick to anyone's workflow or try to have coherence with other sounds.
Some peeps do indeed boost my flow. |
