prometheus and blt are examples of albums that one cannot be boxed into anything except psychedelic trance

i agree with the trip & the likes, let`s stop the whining "what cathegory is it" discussion, because it is what makes divisions & nice people into irritating besserwissers:
here`s a short story:
i was in switzerland for this symposium and met a nice girl at a tranceparty. i was invited home with her and i went.
when we got there she asked me if "i only listen goa?" (in a very sweet german-accent), and i was just about to go "hey ho, the music of today is not goa, goa is dead, that was progressive and darknightstuff girl," when i realized that, hey, this is actually the attitude that is killing the tribe. so i replied "no, i listen to other music aswell," and she asked if i liked pink floyd, which i did & do, and the problem was solved.
my moral is, genre is division. you decide yours.
it is goa for me now:) |
