Sad but true...well this is funny cuz few mins back i was playin an old track which is named as artists G & A & V_-_NN.XXX ,,,and was curious to ask artist V if this track is really his as it got no name,,,n turns out he knows nothing abt the track n its not his !!!! Yea i use P2P share n i might be having lots of tracks with the same sh1t as this one,where even the artist doesnt even know he got such a track :s .... Its sad but true.. So ill stop P2P sharing n set a BIG budget from ur salary to keep ur music archive up to date ... Yea Right !!!
I hope by then ill still be able to pay for parties

Scamming is what I call that! Its one thing to share, but to take what you got for free, then sell it?!?!?

As you say, Mad Eclipse, mislabelled songs are becoming more common... sometimes its harmless, sometimes, its really just someone trying to make a name for themselves with other people's music. Though, I dont see how that could go unnoticed.
And for gods sake copyright your stuff before sending it out to the world!

Russia needs to get their law together in the first place (sorry if that was offensive, i don't really know Russian law I'm just stating what I'm seeing here). I hear about the recent kiddie porn distribution from Russian servers and wonder how anyone is getting away with this. |

Say what you will, they had a good application going... why was allofmp3 so popular? They implemented technologies that the legal download shops haven't, either due to technical incompetence or the morass of legalities and red tape. There would be no place for sites like these if the music industry got its act together.

About the russian law in this case it makes sense IMO.
Music on the internet there is under the same terms as radio and I find it more strange with laws that completely separates a stream from an mp3....you hardly have to be a technology wizard to grab a shoutcast stream or record music from the radio.
I really don't know how there can be such a gap legally when technically the gap is tiny.
AllOfMp3 as I understand pay the fees that they are obliged to do.
It would be noble indeed of them to ask if they could pay more, but of course foolish especially since the international royalty organisations already refuse to accept the money that they are paying to ROMS.

Russian law enforcement have on several occasions busted kiddie pron sites.

No, hence "I don't really know Russian law"..I'm saying that I'm seeing a lot of stuff that shouldn't be distributed legally coming from Russian servers..I named one event I heard about in the news, which I rarely keep up with. A lot of "scamming" type of situations are seeming to revolve around Russia right now.
I'm not meaning to offend here, and I'm not judging all Russians as kiddie pr0n enthusiasts  ..sorry if I'm generalizing too much. |

i find it a bit too easy to say the one doesn't recognize the other thus unlawfull
they better get their arses together and cooperate a bit more! it looks like they still live in the stone age
BTW MPAA didn't they infringe their own copyright laws? and who was there then the victim? yeaaaaaa right the artist they infringed the copyright from.... sooo MPAA first lawsuit yourself then go after illegal mp3's
