Some fresh air in the middle of poluted Tel-Aviv. It started at around 15:30 on Friday. Location: Allenby street on the corner of Shenkin. They played trance music (which wasn't my taste, a lot of nitzchonot) and hardcore techno (which I adore). They had lots of problems with the sound. But despite that, it was really nice. People were dancing, very nice vibes. Most of the organisers were techno people and they received a 750 NIS report. They asked from the poeple there to help them to pay this report (to give one shekel each), so they could get on with the party.
There was free alcohol and free food (sandwiches, chocolates, fruits etc).
At around 19:00, they went underground, meaning they moved all of the equipment to this tunel under Alenby. I went home at this point, but I heard it was really good.

I stayed till the end. once it was moved to the tunnel there were like 30-40 insane ppl touching the ceiling, screaming and dancing... looked like pure maddness. crazy ppl.. and i was a part of them:)
there was an innocent naive man wearing a suit and holding a briefcase who just wanted to cross the street. hehe
but once he saw what was going on there he couldn't believe it and slowly he started to move a little too. :)
he run away when a crazy guy accidently broke one of the tunnel's lamps which unfortunately gave this entire place an atmosphere of a bunch of ppl who just want to make trouble.
they still had sound problems (they couldn't efford cdj's and used discman's that skipped too much) so a friend of mine went to his house to bring his laptop and the music was played from mp3 files. :)
but unfortunately after 10mins when he got back, most of the ppl left. I guess they didnt know it'll continue.. so it lasted till like 8:30pm.

Tzahi, it seems as if we always go to the same paries and I never see you. How come?
It's not going to be every week-end, they do it once every couple of months, when the street is closed. Last time they did it in front on Allenby 58, it was more than 6 months ago.
What's your name, d.j with the laptop? Is it Tom by any chance? |

Well I dunno, it could be nice, if the sound was better. But on the other hand, these kind of events are special cause they happend once in a while. If you do that every week-end, it'll be too common. |

I think it was, till some hour, this is why they got this report.
I mean I don't think they could have done this party if it was illegal, the cops would be all over them after 10 minutes. It's in the middle of Tel-Aviv, in the middle of Friday afternoon.

this was illegal, the organazires want to do balagan with the police. in the previuos party also nobody came, only when shabat started. |

sounds like ATSERET..
then i was living at shenkin were there street party from time to time with dede and some more dj's and it was funny to see it from the balcon. smoke see and enjoy.. |
