I was planning on booking Bamboo Forest in May. Can anybody please explain more about the previous comment about Bamboo Forest?

You obviously don't read event postings for other states in USA and certainly none that are posted from other countries on this board. Most of them have timeslots.
And NO, I don't want EXACT times the DJs go on. Just a rough idea of who to expect on the decks. Why? So I know who I'm watching when they go on.

If you can name one state where promoters consistently post set times (and by that I don't mean one repeating event where set times are posted, but rather the MAJORITY of events from that state...), I will comp you at every party I throw for the next year. Make that two years. |

He was supposed to play at the Symbiosis Gathering this past fall. He apparently never showed up at the airport. Not that I didn't have a marvelous time anyway, but I traveled 1500 miles round-trip and paid good money for a no-show headliner. |

OMG, I lost a trancer...  . I was waiting with baited breath for you to attend so I could get a report on the smells and problems at my parties...
Yeah, the weeklies post their times. One offs in the U.S. (like alladin's parties) don't. No matter which state you're in. And last time I checked, brazil wasn't one of the fifty.
@ metus- actually, that was number 6... and here's hoping. Besides, if I stop then comping him at every party I throw will be extremely easy for me.

@Goat,
It happens very rarely when time slots are posted. I know you've attended a bunch of TDC parties, have they ever posted time slots???? I guess you can answer it yourself. And I'm pretty sure there is a reason why they don't.
And if you want to know who's on deck, come to the party and ask the promoters right there at the door. They'll tell you and may give you an approximate time. |

The new deal with myself now is that whenever someone decides to post a smartass dumb comment about one of my postings, I will simply ignore them and not waste my time.

It's pretty unfortunate for me that 2 great parties are happening in a same night. I would love to see Stephan's (from Bamboo Forest) dj set, but I can't miss Sun Project, Omi - 40% and Dino's party for sure... Well.... Maybe I'll try to make it to both parties....if it works out... somehow... :S
