hi folks .
i ve just had this idea about starting a topic about a track WE would make together
trought the forum .
sharing ideas and sound files of one single track .
for example i m working on a track right now ,
and i d like to experiment where it could end up working with interested dudes .
the way i imagine this would be like this ;
i send the intro ,with tonality and tempo of the track.
then wait for reply of different ideas about
how to continue the track .replies should be followed by the related sound file(s) .i mean all idea should be created first by its autor and joined ,as an audio file ,to the related post .
then we would all vote for the best idea to continue the track .
Also this could link to other topics about how particular sound file posted had been technically created .
i haven t linked the audio file on this post ,i will do it as soon as i see some interested replies .
could possibly make an awsome track ....

it's hard enough trying to collab with 1 other person on a track...
this idea sounds a lot better than it really is unless you can get a group of people to really focus on something for a few weeks, it probably won't work...

ok ....
in our case people don t have to work on the whole track .
let s say you collab with one dude ,shure it s difficult .
but then in this case everybody participates when they feel like it or just when they have time for it ,or just on a particular thing ,all adding a little improvement to the track .
may be in 6 month we ll just have a rolling bass/rythm kiking ass .or even less but those who participate will learn for shure .
if anyone participates ,i agree .
anyway i m making the whole track my way as it is .
may be some interested by experiencing ???
also if someone had this idea before ,i would love to get the link and to participate .

i m working with live actually .
but the idea was more to use audio files so everyone can built it up on his setup .
otherwise this would be exclusive to a particular daw type users ....witch is limiting .
also should be using the same pluggins etc....
so i tought audio .24 bits 48KHz audio files .
with a version of the whole mix ,and all the different audio files of the mix in two cathegories ;unprocessed and processed .each file recorded with the right level so when you load them in a track it already has the right volume .
what you say ?
