Theres so little music in this genre compared to, say, psytrance which has so little music compared to, say, techno. We might as well hail the masters like Bluetech, OTT, Shpongle, Androcell, Adham Shaikh, etc. rather than scrambling to come up with tracks that no one's heard of. how narrow minded are you? i agree psytrance doesnt have many great ones, and to include these ones are just fine with me. however, it is possible for a DJ to look beyond the boundries of psytrance in a DJ set and present something unique to the listener? or am i way off here?

i agree 100% with xerxes..
a chillout dj must suprise listener with tunes beyond the psy-chillout scene..there are so many beautiful easy-listening diamonds out there !

I'm not narrow minded, i'm just not a snob. Maybe where you're from there's a psychill dj in every club, at every party, in every town...but where i'm from I can only hear/dance to a good live psychill set a few times a year. So when that opportunity comes, i don't whine about how "unoriginal" or "predictable" the dj is; i'm just thankful that he's playing my favorite artists |
