In this price range? Probably nothing, but for some extra $$ you get z3ta or karmaFx modular so...

 I'll try it out later when I get home, I've never used it before. I also have KarmaFX modular and I think it's very good for psy type bass.

I think the Alien303 can produce some meaty basses, i mean comon If the Vb1 can become one of the most used psytrance bass Vst then almost anything can work...
i wonder if steinberg knows that Vb1 is so big in psytrance! hehe

Looks like ohshit is the new owner of the traveling license
It's really not that bad, I just already have other synths that can do what this does better (KarmaFX). Higher notes do sound really bad on this synth though, it starts breaking up pretty quick.
For bass I use SubBoomBass, Sylenth1, or KarmaFX usually and I'm starting to use Massive some. I actually like making bass on all my synths just to change up the sound sometimes.
I'd say my quick go to though is KarmaFX, I fortunately donated back when it was free and so I got the new payware verson for free. I'd check it out though if you haven't, it's great for all kinds of psychedelic sounds.
