just got it... heard it... loved it !

1. Cannabidoid - Force
2. Rinkadink - Kooki Kabuki
3. Shift - Insane
4. Xatrik - Midnite
5. Damage - Da Killa
6. Flaming Hoons - Ripping Laps
7. Damage - Bringdanoise
8. Artifakt - Tethered Goat
9. Rinkadink vs Razzmatazz - Upturned (rmx)

--------------------------------------------
nevermind the names of the tracks, i know they sound like rap tunes - bringdanoise and da killa but its aint so!
track 1 is jumpi/groovie not much psy but its a fun track,2nd one (kooki kabuki ?!?!?) is better, really nice one. the shift track, the only artist i recognise here btw, remind me a bit of one of biotonic tunes which is good anyway... 4 is ok, not something flashi... da killa is a killa ! 6 is also one the best here and bringdanoise brought some noise i reckon , there is some skazi influence in damage tracks (5&7) or is it just me?
i didnt like 8 and 9 is a good track to end it...
bekitzur...i mean in short... very good album, thumbs up for the lads from south africa !
I want you to understand that this man at the wheel is my attorney. He's not just some dingbat I found on the strip, man. He's a foreigner. I think he's probably Samoan. But that doesn't matter, though, does it? Are you prejudiced?

i just got this last week, i dont know about these alien safari parties but if this cd is anything to go by, they're not the sort of things you'd want to
take your parents to;-)
its got a brutal pace, sort of freak out sounds layered with sweet pads, big kiks and those basslines that are full-on but still kinda funky. i havn't heard this style before, and i cant really compair it to other acts or labels..
maybe parasence?,but no, thats way off.
my fave trax are rinkadink - kooki kabuki
very, very stange voices but solid on the dancefloor,
track 3 shift - insane: it starts with a cyprass hill sample!?!
the 2 damage trax - exellent production and some wicked atmospheres, and the starwars vibe track:
flaming hoons-rippin lapps.

clearly these southafricans dont fuck about when it comes to having it all over the dance floor, its very full-on for home listening, but i'm sure that its a good buy for the DJ bag -

dont u know i'm loko ? , hehe bom bom bom bom bom...
i almost sure that skazi has something with the 2 damage tracks ... his killin sound is there for sure...

hehe....the South African People indeed have lots of talent, just go my copy Today, and i think that this is Twisted psychedelic Stuff, the production is a bit avarage but the tracks are really have lots of power with great sounds.

yo Dr Gonzo

Skazi has NOTHING to do with Damage by the way... but there are similarities i'll grant you

in fact i heard their latest live act on sunday morning, and their production and sytle has taken another giant leap forward...

look out for anything new from them, i can forsee a fruitfull future for the boyz from Paarl.. hehe

and enjoy the rest of the CD..

(just remember too, mr Asi that there is a general lack of money and facilities in SA wich make the overall mastering process expensive every way you look at it.. what some of the new SA labels need is the support and therefore the cash to improve this aspect, and so to then will the 'new' artists be encouraged to continue to imporve thier skills... thanx for your support )
