I think things could have been a lot better if it was
Talamasca vs Alien Project - Groovy
Anyway i dont wana get involve in this, it is very messy. I hope one of the artist could make a statement about it which will solve the whole problem than complaining about it when we are seeing one side of the story. There must be another side of the story. |

ok if we were to agree with u and if AP copied sum stuff let people decide wat to do .......
eventually people will find out in the long run that he copies or he does watever u claim !!!!
so just wait for people to make this realization then they will automatilcally stop buying his music
sum people may be enjoying his music let them continuue doing so
its a personal choice , whether they support him or not
so dont spoil his name and drop the issue please

i really dont know why you are getting upset for alot of arstists are taking samples from each others songs its been done like that for years.
one example atmos cable enable the main tune is sampled from an old green nuns song |

Ok i had a conversation with Alien Project just now and we also spoke about this issue also.
He authorized me to say these things in the forum cause he is not a member here.Before proceeding with this one i have to state here that both Alien Project and Talamasca are very good friends and partners of mine so i am not supporting anyone here but just helping Alien Project to express himself since he is not much into the forum thing stuff.Talamasca is a member already in this forum so i am sure he is aware of this thread and that if we wants to say something in this subject he knows how to do it 
So here is what Alien Project claims about this whole issue concerning the Groovy track on his new album.
'Well i feel sorry for all these people,they think that i used some of Astrix or Talamasca sounds.They dont know what they are talking about and they just want to bring all this bullshit into this forum.Talamasca used himself a preset of the VST which is one note giving you the sound of the guitar,he used the original preset,if he wants to have the exclusivity then he shouldnt use the original preset but to do something by himself.His track is 148bpm,my track is 145bpm and different key,no really way to use something from his track.And also i made this track from the beggining till the end with Mr.Raja Ram,we dont really need to get any sounds from other artists tracks,we just wanted a track with a guitar and thats how this one came out.
So enjoy it or not.You like it,its fine and we are happy about that,if its not really making the story for you then its also fine with us,its all about taste but why should you bring this bullshit here to the forum?
We are here to enjoy and to get groovy,so please all these complaining people dont worry that much for the sample,just be groovy!'

I am very sorry, but all this explanation doesn't sound very convincing. Mr.. AP, no matter what you say in words, "your" music talks by itself. IT IS A RIP OFF in any case. You just used Talamasca's Aries in your track, just admit it.
And also doesn't matter what softwear you both used, even if it was the same one, you could do something original, not repet Talamasca. Was it a need for it? Or you just like it a lot?
I don't want to be rude, but why do you expect us to take this bull...t whatever you're giving us? I wouldn't call you a thief, but come on, be original.

I dont understand this preset VST thingy at all  but i must say good job  to Surrender who gave us this info and took the trouble to ask Alien Project  Right now, i hope Talamasca can give us a statement about it if he wants to  |

cmon everyone take inspiration of what they love
the important is to make something unik with sound you got even if its have been user somwhere else .. because whats make goa sound goa or house sound house is because in a way we copy a bit all each other ...and dont forget that there will always be fender stratocaster and tb303
