The only one that's being "anti" is you mate... You post one thread after the other bashing Alien Poject. Yes I dont like his music at all - never have... But that does not mean I am going to post endless threads about it 
And please think for a second... Dont you think if it's was such a big problem for Cedric that he would talk to Ari and sort it out himself? Do he really need you to speak his case? I dont think so mate!
And last but not least if you dont like the music dont buy it |

The same sample was used in Astrix - Fire as well...
U gonna bash Astrix in this forum tomorrow?
Dude electronic music is for a big part sample based. The fact that you hear the same samples in different tracks is nothing new. |

Thats what I am trying to make him see .. I am almost sure that the above mentioned sample is a sample that was taken from some sample CD and used both by Talamasca and Alien Project.... So how can that sample loop be Talamasca's "monopoly" loop ?
If I had to run around chasing artists that used the same samples as I have used in the past then I would get very busy..... And feel very very stupid
I still dont see the point of bashing Ari over a stupid loop? |

Elysium/Woutski, before bashing Hod did you try to hear the "Groovy" sample in Psyshop? If you heard it and if you heard Talamasca's Aries you should clearly see that it's not like they are sharing the same sample, Mr. Ari took the guitar sample + the breakbeat that goes with it from Talamasca's track. I mean, when you buy sample cd don't you get clean samples? Or do you buy sample cds where guitar samples blended with breakbeats? This is clear ripoff. You have all the right to protect Ari, but please check your facts.

I am not protecting anyone here... And I am sure not bashing anyone. That I will leave up to hod who's doing a great job bashing Alien Project over and over again - not only in this thread
I just think that enough is enough. I am sure Cedric can deal with Ari himself if it's such a big problem for him.. I dont think he need hod gavriel to speak his case.
And again are you so sure that the original sample dont sound like that? I cant be sure since I haven't listened to it. But I wil take a listen to both tracks and give you my version of what I think... that is if i dont have to download the crappy realplayer
To answer your question about the sample... you can for sure get tons of samples with pre-recorded instruments (also guitars) on top of beats. |

Yes, but it's not the case here. Get the 2 tracks and see for yourself. I am sure that it will stunn you. This is one of the ugliest thing that the " "underground" " scene can borrow from the mainstream. This is shame.

Nothing stunn me... I frankly dont care who's right or wrong... I just think it's time to stop the bashing.
But it's ok when trance artists use samples taken directly from artists that's not trance artists?
And please give me a break with the "ugliest thing" It's not that big a sensation.

think you'll find the guitar sample was done by cedric's brother and Ari and Cedric are mates as far as i know and its more than likely he gave it to Ari, think i've heard it on an Astrix track as well just to complicate matters! |

thats right Sputer.. im not getting involved with this.. but i can see that its not about who stole what from who, but more the lack of originality.. Alien project has no explaining to do.. not to us, not to talamasca, not to anyone.. there's nothing to deal out here..
i haven't heard either of the three songs, therefor, im replying from your responses.. but im sure pavel knows what he's talking about when he says RIPOFF..
its just that, maybe they added a bit too much?? even the rest of the sounds are the same?? same presets as well?? highs' come in at the same times in each track?? or is it just a sample thing?
p.s. If this thread gets locked, i think you should close the WHOLE forum as well.. express yourselves.. besides, its not in the PROMOTIONS section..

This is just a general point of view, no person is involved..
Why use Samples? and if use samples why not cut em up and mangle them, im not talking about Percussion here, im talking guitar riffs, synthlines and so on... it makes no sense to me, how could you ever feel that this is my work!
And same goes for voice samples, if you gonna use them at least make sure you are updated with the scen and what happens... it dosent work to just sit in your little room and hoping that you are original, for fuck sake make sure you are original! if your aim is not something else...
the scen is getting to money horny! and stuff is getting recycled..
thats just my 0.05cents |

You should check what Third eye records said earlier in this thread, because he obviously know what I know.
Sometimes in electronic (all) music it´s not allways the artist that is the man/woman behind the music, and this is the case here.
Ari has a lot of good ideas and a BIG FAT studio, but he´s not the best musician and engineer. So the answer to the question is that he always has someone who helps him in the studio, and this someone has been different artists on different albums. Astrix is one of them, Orion is another.
