is La, from Chennai,India. I grew up playing different styles of music from the age of 16. The guitar was my first instrument, later moving on to the bass and drums. I played in a metal band for about 3 years giggin around india. Ive always been open to different forms of music and am always trying to experiment in fusing different genres of music together. I found goa trance in india but it wasnt until i came to San Francisco, i heard the real underground goa/psy trance. In Jan 2001, i decided to make goa trance, trying to push it to a new level of audial wizardry. The intention behind the music is to lift the conciousness of the dancer, making them more aware of their surroundings. To form a collective, and break through cultural differences, and simply so that we can all get along. |

It's a term that I use that was used in the 30s-60 made famous by the "rat pack" (Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Sammy Davis jr, Bing Crosby)... Sorry about that... Sometimes I forget that even though every speaks english on this forum, not that much American english filters down...
