5. Is it true that your instruments are created using the SM program from Outsim Ltd.?
Yes but actually this program is only used as a tool for a final joining of our own codes written in C++ language and assembler. Our codes are mainly based on DSP chip
formulas of the hardware instruments and circuits of the real hardware synthesizers. The SM program is only used for visual simplification of our own complex codes
and schemes. This means there's no way to create our products by SM program with using its standard modules only. |

And what precisely does it explain?
Are my points magically more or less valid because I release plugins?
My latest plug is available in the mother of kick drum threads.
I've discontinued my other plug ins (although I got a lot of compliments) because I got pissed off with supporting them.
Psy-Kick I view as giving something back to the scene, and thats different.

I doubt that statement - the code module in synth maker is not C++ - I also code in that did I mention?
Simple things like if-Then statments are not the same at all
It requires translation at least. Which makes you wonder why they code in C++ at all... could it be that something isn't quite accurate here???
Furthermore, take a look at the oscilator list in SM - I reckon this plugin makes extensive use of the oscs that come packaged, with a bit of filtering/saturation applied here and there.
The filter also sounds very familiar.
I'm not saying its a bad plugin.

Im just quoting what "they say" which oposes your "standard with minor tweakage" premise.
Yes your point are magically more valid to me since you are a real developer. I'll search for your vsts.
Peace! xD |

If I'm right, Slovakia isn't a rich country and live there is a bit harder than in Germany or UK so if may I choose between spend some euro in cafe & cigarettes or buy and support these guys for the same price...
In the first case I can await a cancer in the future, in the second one some good plugins |

Are you really pulling the charity card?
Assuming that anyone has an easy financial subsistence simply because they live in Germany or the UK is pretty crass.

speakafreaka, are you sure?
By eurostat (Average gross annual earnings in industry and services) it's:
- germany - 42 382 eur/year
- uk - 44 495 eur/year
- slovakia - 7 039 eur/year
so you really don't see any different?
and definitely buying the software is support not charity, isn't it? |

7 039 Euro is more then I'm earning a year. But its still invalid - not everyone earns those figures, and its pretty offensive to suggest they do.
And living in the UK, I can assure you that there is grinding poverty for many, many people here - to think otherwise is plain well ignorant.
You are implying we should take into account the location of the developer in our buying decisions, as if this somehow affects the worth of the product.
This is inherently offensive to me. I place value on merit. I point blank refuse to place a higher worth on something simply because a location is poorer. Thats about half a step away from racism.

These numbers are just average it means that more than 75% of people in each country are earning less than half of it in fact...
But that was not my point, I'm just studying eastern europe as subject and that was just my comment relating to the price of plugin, which is equal to one dinner in western europe.
no offense at all
by the way where are you from?

well I've already said...
but enough - I'm entitled to my opinion without people jumping down my throat.
I don't think this plugin is worth the asking price. I'm not trying to have a debate about it, thats my opinion.
