fuck! i mean when i started promoting my music in 2004-2005 i received same sort of replies! LOL. when that time comes when you just make music and people like it? 
on the other hand SunStation accepted it, so i think i will go with them and make the album free

go with the labels that like it, not everything is for everyone, your stuff isnt the standard prog-psy thats popular these days, i heard no triplets or crazy breakdowns with dub-step wobbles, what do you expect...

actually the fact he replied is more than you´d normally get. its not the label guys standard (for whatever that means) but he did say make some more effort and it might be. maybe he did not get that its just out of his scope stylewise and that you are not into standardised music, who knows but his reply is fair do, its all subjective after all. also, i do not know what label you wrote to and what standards they have.
but anyway, in the end if you like your music you should go with people that appreciate it as it is.
i am very very happy with sun station records and my free release there! and it gives a good feeling if you know people do it for the love of it.

yeah well put
that's exactly what i did ever before with Overdream. i believe any nice music will eventually find its listener. especially today, when it is so easy to spread it. i just wanted to try some bigger label because some of them have nice benefits such as connections with festival / party organizers, cool remix opportunities, pro promo campaigns etc.
