I think there could be some more build up sound woosh or something leading up to 1:00.

Melody coming in at 1:20 or so I think would be wetter.

I would put more perc sounds beginning at 1:44. Some clicks and pops, not cymbals.

The bass is really cool, the glide or whatever is going on there give a great almost tango feel.

The tweaked vocals or synth or whatever that is at 2:50 or so come in nicely, wow, yes they evolve very nicely I think having the bassline evolve slightly leading up to the break to match would be nice.

Very nice break, i think it might benefit from a few subtle psychedelic shimmery noises though...

and the drop at 4:38 needs to be more intense i think, at least the crash needs to be bigger.

Bass progression starting around 5:40 is quite appropriate, although they usually end up cheesy, this on is nice and concise.

That same synth comes in again at 6:10, i think it could be wetter here too.

Cool stuff man! You are doing things I have not heard before and it is nice. maybe see it live someday

Equilizyme, thanks man for your time! I will incorporate your ideas, because that make sense.
Hopefully u will see me live indeed

Johnsta, thanks man!

Minus, yeah, I know what u r talking about, that's my way of working when i create a lead that plays and plays and plays without pauses and so on. I am struggling that

This is very cool! But I would do something about that "Bell-Lead", thats a bit too repetitive. It kinda masks the otherwise awesome track. And the sound is very crisp and clean!           Check out my album: http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/gay-satanic-hippie-tiefenrausch

very very nice work makus

awesome track with good emotions!

the harmonys blend nicely into each other and you have a mystic atmosphere going through that i really like.
good groove with the baseline and nice kick base combo.

for my taste the bell like lead is too prominent for the rest. and one thing that i notice in more of your tracks, but that might be just taste. the rather standard off beat open high hat that kicks in in the second part for me personally makes a "cheap" sounding percussion in this musical context. maybe try to exchange that with another less 909ish open hat or process the hat with phaser or other modulation or whatnot to make it sound more "modern and special". you make special music with high tec touch that deserves a special hat. hard to put in words what i mean with that maybe.. but before the oh comes in your track it sound much better stylewise imho.

just my 0.02$ ;-)           http://www.ektoplazm.com/free-music/stereofeld-frequenzwechsel

thanks, men!

klip, nice to hear from you!

yes, i will research into the hi hat issue and hopefully will cook something special. u have a point there indeed, i never process hihats too much, just make them sound good to my ear, but only with comp and eq.

hey man, thanks for the tutorial, it is pretty awesome and detailed.

btw, i can't say i'm out of the comfort zone

actually when i started to make music it wasn't night psychedelic. it wasn't even trance, but when i switched to trance i made full on. then moved to kiev, started a new life and shifted to the night music with Overdream in 2006.

however i was always keeping in mind that i should go back and do some day time psychedelic music. now full on isnt very exciting for me (though i really love good morning tunes) so i took progressive as basis. while working on AlgaeBloom i realised how progressive trance is wider comparing to night stuff, and i like that.

Solid melodic stuff you have here. I haven't read the previous comments but it seems as you need some more sounds after 1:50, it stays with the basic beat up to 3:40 (the melodies are awesome). If you improve that it would be great. Some better percussion work can be good too + cool fx and other things. You have more of what I mean after the long break stops in 4:35.

Soundwise can't comment much, I heard it in headphones but I believe it's rock solid maybe except I would like to hear some more punch to the bassline.

All these bells need is a bit of eq, and maybe afterwards, a little less volume... or a little less compression... maybe a lower compression ratio with threshold adjustment after the eq...

This tune has sequences in there that almost remind me of times past, also, I miss some phatness in the kick... not that it is not good enough, it most certainly is, but like a friend recently told me I am now telling to you, I know you can do better than that... keep it emotional, I like your style...           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:

A great example for Etnica btw. they could benefit from how you make old sound new !!! I definitely like the originality in there!           Upavas - Here And Now (Sangoma Rec.) new EP out Oct.29th, get it here:
