its an 'littlebrother' of the Alesis Ion synth. I think its capable of the same as Ion, but it has much fever controls and is not so handy to program patches on (i heard). I think its much better than microkorg (imo), and also great for trance. Very good at leads and pads, also very nice at organ type stuff.

I think you should go check it out yourself at a gear dealer.           myspace.com/auralinvasion

yeah ive got 1!

its a good synth with VERY MUCH CAPPABILITTIES and a modulation matrix many software synth would be jelous of..

sound is very nice and has good filters !

its very good for trance/electro and comes with alot of premade presets!

bad thing is the very few controlers on it its a very tricky bussines to make ur own patches! and i think the biggest mistake alesis has done is not to make a good software editor for it it would deffinately save the day!

i use it mainly for live stuff and cause its easy to cary with me when need to!

check it and decide!

Already bought it.. I cant understand u people, talking that its hard to setup patches? Are u thinking of presets? Yesterday I bought it and already I made some simple presets, its so easy, just push and turn and play.. Its really great, and better than microkorg and moog.. Im amazed with it.. It was love at first sight.. Real anti virus..
So orange-atropa would u like to share some sysex files with me? Do u know somebody else who uses it?           http://www.myspace.com/djacidkills
