Following the outrageous success of last months double hit of New Wave Radio featuring Simon Posford live in the studio as well and pre recorded live sets from HOMmega artists Astrix and Xerox & Illumination we prepare to saddle up and unleash yet another selection of full on business, this month welcoming UK Based Alchemy Records into the studio featuring label boss Shane Gobi and a special live performance from Rinkadink.
Established in 2001 by London-based Saffa DJ Shane Gobi and long-time friend Stuart Bates with support from DJ Spencer from Australia and DJ Starspine from South Africa, the label has built up an incredible reputation for releasing full on psy-trance across the globe from artists such as Dark Soho, Miraculix, Fatali and Rinkadink.
The label has expanded over the years to include a global base of DJs such as Simo (UK/ Italy) Akasha (Brazil) Shove (Mexico) and Pavi (Spain) to ensure wherever the party is at, Alchemy is sure to be. Recent additions to the family include live artists Broken Toy and Freakulizer.
In the studio will be label boss Shane Gobi giving us an insight into what’s happening with the label at present as well as giving us a taste of his skills on the decks to show us just why this man has been so in demand in 2005. Joining Shane will be fellow South African based in London Rinkadink who’ll be performing a live showcase.
