mony mony mony mony mony
I like nonsense, it wakes up the brain cells. Fantasy is a necessary ingredient in living, its a way of looking at life through the wrong end of a telescope. Which is what I do,and that enables you to laugh at life's realities.

morning / afternoon / evening kiddies.
just thought i'd pen a little review of this one so that those of you that weren't there can see what you missed, and maybe those of you that were there can have some structure brought to their night .
in short it was excellent, great sound, great people great music, i was damn tired but still dug 'til (almost) the end
first up was spencer, i arrived at about midnight and he was nearing the end of the set. As a warm up dj he had clearly done his job because the dance floor was jamming and the club was starting to fill up. Also the music was already storming, first track i heard was some skazi dancefloor terror, nice one dude also great choice of final tune (power up psycraft rmx if i'm not mistaken)
now miraculix are on live. never heard any of his stuff before but i really liked it, sorta variety of sounds from more techno stuff to the more trancey. highly enjoyable will be checking his releases soon.. also he was clearly having a whale of a time which is always nice to see
so hello dj lestat and good bye sanity! absolutely great stuff, what you'd expect from talamasca basically! didn't recognize many of the tunes (assume its loads of his unr stuff) but it got me jigging like anything. great, great, great set and a really good dj as well. particularly enjoyed his drumming actions behind the decks
now we are going full power, what could we possibly need? aah i know, full on power guitar trance from the israeli masters dark soho!! my word, this was something else! one of the best live sets i have ever seen. very, very live with at times two (yes two!) guitarists this, well.. it ROCKED basically. The crowd clearly agreed with me as they were going mental and didn't want dark soho to leave (ever, by the looks of some of them )
but leave they must to allow the master of alchemy onto the decks. Shane Gobi took the stand and immediately assaulted us with some excellent prime psy cuts both old and new. he made my night by playing astrix v atomic pulse 'scientific reality', that tune really does sound amazing outrageously loud, and by this stage it really was outrageously loud! ! unfotunately i didn't catch the last half hour as i had to go and stand outside in the cold and hand out fliers (poor me ) but my spies report it continued as it started, excellently
so alchemy crew, give yourselves a huge pat on the back, an ace production and i can't wait to hear the digital tribe compilation.
ps: sorry i didn't really check out the chill out room so can't comment on it, it looked nice though
