hi everybody i just want to let everyone know the alchemy party was all set to go we had everythng the venue the permits and the artists everything was setup when the police arrived and decided to shut down the party it was'nt the promoters fault it was some messed up shit with the police as soon as the party was cancelled we startedlookink for a new locationand once we found it we moved everything there the soun system the decoration everything and the party was ready to begin but a few minutes later the police came to the new location and shut us down again they didnt care that had all the permits and everything!!! i just want to let you know all of the artists were here in mexico and ready to play and still are.We are working realy hard to make this party happen and it will next weekend!!! so please be patience and we'll give u all the info about the new party as soon as we have it just know its still going on and it wasnt our fault we are really really sorry and any questions u might have just send an e-mail to naturalminds@hotmail.com. SORRY ABOUT EVERYTHING and we hope to see u next weekend

First than all i need to explain what happened in this chaos from last saturday. Everything was set and ready to go, suddenly the police came in a very rude way and just closed the entrance to eveyrone in the party. Some autorithies came and told that the party will not happen... so the promoters went there and showed the permission signed to make this party happen. but they just answer that didnt care about it, so the people who delivered the permission came to the place and stop fighting with the "ejidatarios" ( thats the name of the guys in charge of some land, no the owners if not the guys in charge ). So this fighting continue just to see who was the guys who had more power and because of this the only people that was injured by this was all the people in the party. So the promoter decided to change the location quickly to have all this party for sure; so sound system , decoration, stands and everyone start to moving everything to the new location; so the people was arriving there and everybody was working on it. The promoter paid for the permission and help of the police of the new location, so they were helping with their patrols to the access of the people... but some hours after another police came and just decided to cancel. SO the other patrols just twist the side and became against the party too. So everybody in the location got really pissed off because of this. answering about this coment:

i wasnt running away from the party , i was running to got a solution with autorithies and other people for save all the work that everybody was making 6 months ago, and just because of the police was broked.
You want solution, all the alchemy artist are here with me, if you need to probe it dont doubt in contact me or asked to them.
Im a guy who always want to make something good for the scene, because this is my life, is the only thing im just really sure about it.. so its not fair that because of other hands all the work just went down. So i decide dont fall down and continue with this party that for me was everything last months..so the party will happen next week and if you dont want to go there..i can understand...but ijust ask for comprehension and patience...because this things happen .
So if someone needs something to say...just say it.
For sure the situation in mexico now is really difficult and i hope the autorithies not start canceling all the parties ...because if this happen we need to be together instead of said opinions without know what happened.
So a lot a lot of apologies to all the people and all the info of the party will be on line tomorrow . |

I am the A&R Manager and Label partner with Alchemy Records. I can confirm what Rene has said about the problems with the Police and the party being cancelled on the weekend.
Everything was in place for an amazing production but the party was shutdown by Police even after all permissions and monies were paid by the promoters. It was a real shame that we couldn´t play and we are staying here this week to play this weekend in Mexico city.
All the Alchemy artists that were booked for the party are still in Mexico and will be here for the party this weekend. I am currently in Guadalajara and Dark Soho, Broken Toy, Rinkadink, Shane Gobi and Akasha are all in Mexico city as I write this.
Freakulizer has had to return to Switzerland due to other bookings in Europe this weekend so won´t be on the lineup.
Apart from that all the Alchemy crew are here and ready to rock the party. |

just tell me what a fuck im going to do if I buy 3 tickets in the entrance of the second lease and acced but did not give me anything just the tickets that were broken by the security.

I have been in Mexico for 5 Days...
Shove (Rene) andhe's helping hands toke realy care of us Artists ... and i had avery nice time there ... even if my Laptop and Passport got stolenat the Airport ...
I was very sad when i heard that the Party wont happen ...
the promoter payed all permissions and fees for the venue , autorities and artists ...
I think it's a very rude way from the Mexican Police to get easy Money ... first they sing contracts (getting Money) and everything and then they just ficked the promoter up ...
I saw Rene was running all the time to make the Party happen ...
I think it's not a nice way to shout at the Promoter... because it was realy not hes fault ... I never saw something happen in this way ... but we see sadly nothing is impossible ...
I would like to thank a lot to all people who toke care of us ... I had a nice time in Mexico ...
and i realy hope the Party goes on at Sunday (Shove will post more very soon) ...
hope to see ya all in Mexico somewhen (again)...
