1st -search can't stuck
it's probably timeout of your browser.
All it does- sends request to server and browser waiting for reply.

i know searching can't get stuck

NOTHING can get stuck.
the result of things like : jamming, stopping , not working, slipping , exploding , ramning , batteries dry out , time outs , overflows , chewing gum , gear boxes jamming and MORE is STUCK.
