Hi all, Just curious has anybody found a good practical way to use the new scream filter. I've been messing with it alot to see if I could find the "character" or something special about it, but it pretty much just always has a high pitched squeal to it that stays at whatever the cutoff value is.

Has anybody found anything else it's good for other than just a high pitched squeal pitching up and down?

I haven't played with it specifically but from your description I'd imagine that with the right waveform going through it and a good distortion or overdrive effect after it, it could make some hefty lead sounds.

the reso is extremely sensitive with this filter - keep it very low. i've got a great lead out of it that im using in a track im working on right now actually

cool, thanx for the info, I'll try and use really low res on it and toy with some different saturation settings, see if I can get this baby to "scream"
