Hey everyone, is there a way to automate the sync function of the gate effect in albino 3 (i.e. changing from 1/16 to 1/8 etc.)? I cant find a setting for it in the automations section and it will mean I will have to create multiple tracks each with its own sync which will take aaaages and make everything a mess:( |

anyone? I really need to be able to automate the gate times.. I read something about recording the automation live into an audio track but I also wanted to automate the wet value at the same time and also it would be kind of hard to get the switching time correct as it has to change at precise moments as it plays.. |

copy the albino track as much as you need. Take one for 1/16 gate, the other for 1/8 etc. Automate the bypass in the right place on these tracks.Voila.
No other way possible in Albino.
with automating wet functions it's a pain in the ass to do it the same way, timewaste. Get an additional dedicated plug in on the insert input.

You can use external gate effect. I dont know what platform do you use but on PC you can use:

Or you can use MIDI gate and create your own MIDI sequence which can be easily change during the time. But MIDI gate will sounds a little bit different  .
Or use classic Gate with sidechain and control it with white noise. But noise will goes only into gate sidechain not to the output of your master.
With these ways you can change your gate pattern anytime you like. But as I said it sounds little bit different. You have also option to change attack, realease settings and maybe hold too
