He was asking about monitors, not headphones superglue 
Active monitors have incorporated amplifier, so don't need a separate one. Passive monitors don't have, so u need an amplifier
About the headphones....
K240s goes from 15hz to 25,000Hz
k270s goes from 16hz to 28,000Hz
Don't they go too low?Isn't that too low for monitoring?
