Wonder how much its going to cost...there's Maschine in the game now as well, which is a strong competitor.

Peace out.

The strengh is the customized Software.

Imagine that you can resample and sample with a press of a physical button. Copy paste without touching the mouse...
Lean Back and make music instead of starring at small fonts on teh screen.

Imagine...
You play a Synth with Echos and Reverb and sample it. After slicing you have 100% control ofe ach Echo hit
or the length of a massive Hall without worrying about automation or mud. (drawback most is unique, advantage creative flow)

Currently most Producer I know use Audio Tracks, and they bounce in place. BUT they also have to play rewind play rewind play rewind.....
With a Sampler you can just hit a pad until it matches

I hope that they desiged the Software Part so that you do not have multiple windows and rather one active window which you can open/close with dedicated knobs on the controller.
Once get used to the "physical" positions of the knobs ,
its like playing piano, your hands just know what to do.

For me , as a long time MV8000 user , it would very interesting if it would (hopefully will) combine best of both worlds:
Usability of Dedicated hardware (not all hardware is really a joy to use, eg MicroQ's Dials suxx) and the Speed of a Computer.

We will see, I am going to try it...

Hopefully they have used some High Quality Dials and not such Chep form the Akai Z8           http://facebook.com/ansolas

for me the most instering thing is the sound, it can sound like old mpcs , for software i have to read more about it to really get the avantage of it vs workflow in a computer.
