so i've been listening to Ajja non-stop recently.
i've been trying to figure it out all week though...

how does he get such a range of random noises?
his tracks are basically percussion, bassline, and random "swirly" noises, for lack of better understanding.

insight anyone??

Play around with Albino 3 and its FM capabilities.
Albino 3 is all over their latest album.

yep, try fm. play with filters, comps (as fx), gates, vocoders, crushers, distortion, reverbs and delays but in a subtle way (i.e as different sends) and always use modulation options. route some signals together and process them again (maybe bounce and rearrange with other sounds).

also take time for modulation and automation on the synth (filter, pitch, noise amt., pwm...)

if the fx are not overused u can creat nice grooves with uncountable different noises, percussion and rhythms...
