It would be great to find some electronic covers of Moroccan music. I've heard some country-side folk songs that are almost trance already...

Do you know if anybody does something like that?

Just a couple examples...
I think this can be easily tweaked into psy trance.
(I know it's Algerian - it's still Maghrebine though)

And this one I can play around the clock - it's just great!

But that's not quite what I was talking about. I meant Moroccan "Aroubia" music. It's rhythmic, repetitive and yet you never get tired of it.

(Don't know if "Aroubia" is a polite word. I certainly don't mean it as an insult.)
