wouldn't that be dnb? unless you half time it. but then it would be just 85bpm and we are talking about semantics.

i would suggest you check out TeeBee. especially the first album, Black Science. it's very atmospheric dnb. but not in that LTJ Bukem/Good Looking crew kind of jazzy laid back dnb. but pretty dark and moody and, dare i say ...psychedelic.           https://soundcloud.com/dead-end-dance

Psyfactor - Endless Universe ?

.. and a lot of faaaast psychedelic goaish mosakk with 1XXBPM is totally relaxing if your thinking about setting your mind in trance or something. I bet there is a lot of folks in this place that falls smilingly asleep while listening to hyperspeed music at night. In my old metal days I would sleep as a baby if I listened to trash-metal. Guess it has something to do with brainwaves ChillOuOut.

nice record, but there's nothing there at 170bpm.

but +1 to sleeping to metal. i did this for years when i was younger. i had my cd player as my alarm. and there was nothing like waking up to the sweet sounds of Morbid Angel or Emperor. no snooze button cop-outs. that shit got you out the bed real quick.

Defiantly not 170Beats Pr. Madness, but it has some tracks that flies through the universe in hyper-speed

haha yeah

Why shouldn't one be able to make Chilled-Out ambience music with 170BPM's? The beats don't have to pound your head in with massive club beats, it could be arranged and sonically audiolized to be very trance inducing and relaxing, no? People today have the means and equipment to make a lot of stuff out of our squared imagination he he
