I'm 34. Most of my party friends are over 30; some are over 40 and one - Barclay (Dark Angel) - is over 50 and DJing regularly at parties in the UK.

i'm 27, like it or not a psytrance party is still a underground event, and it's getting, at least here, worse every moment. There becomes a time that you can't really say to some people that you go to these kind of parties, your boss, your work mates, etc , but that the shit issue that happens in everything inside a society right? You're not really free, at least in others people opinion.

Trance is for the young and old. I mean look at myself, I party with my mom and my friends and her friends, we are one big happy family!!!

That diversity is what keeps the scene alive with fresh spirit and dance. The older trancies with give the wisdom and the young will give the strength. It needs all these different spirits to keep it alive....which it very much is!!!           :: Life can be as bitter as dragon tears
But whether dragon tears are bitter or sweet
depends entirely on how each man perceives the taste ::

There is no upper limit of age, but there should be a lower limit ...
It's like XXX rated materials, giving it to the person too young can disturb its mind, without any understanding of the issue ...           Always remember you're unique, just like everyone else.

It's more a question of growing tired of a musical genre than an age issue IMHO.

It reminds me of an interview of Goa Gil in which he said : "How can you listen to the same music for 15 years ? I used to love the Dead when I was growing up, but I can't listen to that stuff anymore. It sounds like cowboy music."

Maybe Psytrance is diverse enough to avoid this for a long time...

At least in Goa you can see a lot of older people in parties and I think that's great. I hope I'm also partying in Goa when I'm 50!

Hell, I want to look like a sadhu when I'm 70!

no age limit at all!!!!

i think it all depends upon the person, when a person grows old he changes his lifestyle and thinking in some cases drastically..... if trance fits in urelifestyle or it still moves u when ure old then there sholud be no reason why the person should stop listening to trance!!!
if u dont care for it then drop it and move on

no one has the right to put up AGELIMITS
for trance lovers

bOm shiva!!
